I like JRPGs, but that was easily the most boring game ive ever played.

This is a gnarly-ass game, but not without charm! Really clear that NO playtesting happened, but sometimes that works out. Final verdict: It's a bit of a DQ1-style grindfest with fun enemy designs and a guy who transforms into a pink car!

Mastered! This was a weird way to enter the Phantasy Star series. Hardest part was not the bosses, but rather just the normal encounters. Thanks for the set.

I've played worse. But not many. Good set though. You will lose your mind during the grind.

Mastered. Honestly, with a few tweaks, this game could've actually been good. My only major complaint would be the weird accuracy/damage calculations. The stupidly high encounter rate was made less annoying by very liberal usage of turbo. And the final grind at the end was relatively tame compared to, say, the early DQ games.

Thanks for the set, televandalist. Other than those 2 achievements that you've since fixed, I can confirm that every achievement triggered when appropriate while playing the JP rom.
