Today I learned that Working Designs, responsible for the translation for many games, also went in and fiddled with the code to make the games harder for the USA release. For apparently no reason other than they thought they knew better.

Lunar Eternal Blue, Vay, Albert Odyssey, the list goes on. Their tomfoolery has caused many romhackers to restore the broken features in these games with an "un-Working Designs" version, which keeps the translation but ditches everything that WD meddled with that made the games insufferable.
