Mastered, a very pleasant short romp, highly recommended if you want a simple rpg that more or less a silly kids adventure. Defientally got a bit of that wacky Japanese humor I like

Holy crap facing bosses underleveled in this is ridiculous. I calculated it'd have taken me 1536 spins to kill Moray at level 10 using only the cape. Granted, Rudy helps some, but... dang.

Wow the grind is tedious, I thought this was going to be a fun, quick game but just being 1 level down leads to grinding the same 3 enemies over and over and over.

And now I'm in the obligatory ice level with slippy floors, fun times...

As soon as the ice level is over, there's another opportunity for tedious grinding - the last one in the game. Fortunately, the experience earned from each weak enemy is much higher than other areas so I managed to grind the last four levels in about half an hour.

Overall its alright, some nice mechanics but it's short and grindy.

Mastery #4, I remember playing this once as a kid. It seems to have an inverted difficulty curve. I died several times on the first boss, though had a progressively easier time as I worked through the game. Fun little adventure, though!

its possible to overshoot level 16 and be stuck at level 15.(you still get the achievement)
but i got the last bit of exp from Moray while spinning from attacking to fast and ended up at 65535 exp. which was pretty interesting.

Mastery #49! It's a cute game that's very "90s Japan" but unfortunately I don't have a whole lot to say about it. It was over in only about five hours, though my save file ended at about 3:45. I'd like to parrot what other commenters said -- the game is so short that it almost comes off as unfinished, and the difficulty curve is somewhat inverted. It's like a U-shape -- The first boss is harder comparatively to most of the rest of the game, mainly due to your very limited resources and poor EXP grinding options, and then the final boss is suddenly several levels higher than the fights right before him.

Also, there's a softlock at the end of the third world and before you go on to the fourth. You can get caught in a corner at the edge of town and, since the connection to the map it normally leads to is gone, you just get stuck and are unable to free yourself unless you use a Transport card. You're never going to fall into that unless you try to go out to grind more gold before continuing, though.

Which, by the way? You can't (meaningfully) grind gold after beating the world 3 boss. As previously stated, the connection is removed. There's no shop in the world 4 so get your money/hat/card grinding done before then. Feels less like an oversight and more a time constraint.

Eh, anyway. Thank you for the set, thank you RA highlight for bringing me here.
