Note to anyone making achievements for this game: I *highly recommend* using the Area 88 set when you make them because that version has extra stages that were left out of U.N. Squadron. Thanks.

Hope someone takes up this task. One of the best Shootemups ever ported to the SNES, The soundtrack is pretty damn amazing too.

I got some ideas rattling around in the tank for now. Shame that some of my ideas connected to the OVA/Anime/Manga can't come to fruition though due to limits ingame.

Definitely will be using the Bonus Stage in the Area 88 romset as one of the achievements, so that'd be the one to use, but both should work well for the bulk of the set.

There's a 2Player Co-Op mode in this that is not available in the SNES port, so there's a window for a Multi Set if any devs want to take a crack at making one.

Will you be taking a shot at the sequel, U.S. Navy / carrier Air Wing when you're done with this one? Again, in that one the Japanese version (U.S. Navy) has extra stages not in the localized version.

I'll give it a look! Gameplay in Carrier Air Wing is almost one-to-one with Area 88 / UN Squadron. It just lacks an anime franchise to lean on.
