Guys, when I open the game, the message - Cannot Activate Achievments using this Core - I tried use FB Alpha 2012 and FB Alpha 2012 CPS2 core

Shouldn't there also be achievements for the special endings that you can only earn if you have two players?

Mastered. Nice challenges, non-insanely specific cheevos. Good stuff. Gotta take out a few points for two specific things, this set ONLY works on Final Burn Neo. No other core can run the set. AND, you NEED RALibretro so Final Burn Neo can play the game properly. I get it that this set is from 2019 and is safe to say the maker of these cheevos doesn't give a damn about updating it, but is just shitty having to download a whole other emulator to run ONE game.

I mastered it just fine with RetroArch not sure why you are saying it needs RALib to play :/ Great set tele had lots of fun

Ok, let me list it off:
-I tried updating the emulator, didn't work
-I tried updating the core, didn't work
-I tried updating the bios, downloaded a whole pack of bios roms from different sites, didn't work
-I tried downloading the rom from about 20 different sites, some roms had the same dump, others had a different one, tried the rom, didn't work
-Tried about 10 different configurations, each changing something different, nothing worked
Then i figured to use RALibretro with the same core, same rom, same bios, and, oh wow, the game worked! So either, the game magically worked, or the set is not updated. Since last update this set recieved was from July 2019. So is not assumption, is a god damn fact that you didn't bother to update it to work on other cores, that's all. So if i'm doing something wrong, then wtf do i have to do to make it work on RetroArch? Every single rom i played, except for this one, worked just fine on RetroArch. But whatever, i mastered it. I hope you can update this set to make it work with other cores, because i had to deal with some annoying roadblocks to make it work on my end.

Who the hell do you think you're speaking to with that tone?

1st of all, everything on RA is free & nobody gets paid for it so cool down your damn entitlement because you're not entitled to jack.

2nd, Tele is one of the busiest people on RA with all he contributes, so have some damn respect.

It's not his nor any other devs' job to go back & redo our sets to make them compatible with every new emulator and method that has been added since our sets were made. If that was the case we would hardly have any new sets.

Use the emulator they were meant to be played on or just be quiet. Say thank you that there are achievements to do at all. Go see how much capcom gives a shit about their own games to make achievements for them and bitch to them, not to hard working people here who get paid nothing to do what we do. It's not our job to make sure things work on your end if you're using emulators that the achievements were not intended for at the time of their creation because they simply did not exist or support RA at the time. If they do happen to work and someone spent the time needed to do that, then it's a bonus. Learn how to be grateful for what there is.

Fun fact: Final Burn Neo is the only arcade core we support. We used Final Burn Alpha until it was deprecated.
