It looks like it could not be, most of my complete plays so far didn't encounter 10 rings, let alone 10 different rings I was going to submit a ticket for Recursive Remedy but now I get what I should do from the post there, will try tomorrow =D

	Jungon 7 Oct 2024 05:53 I was going to say 14 scrolls might be too much, but with 12, it is possible, I've had 11 twice today, but now it's finally mastered! =D although this is a great set, of all the times I have beaten the game, 3 of them were glitched endings and I think they're not counting as achievements ..... of all the times I played to master the game, 5 times I reached the orb, 2 runned the real ending, and there were about 15 times I died on floor 26~30, this is a brutal game nonetheless, one snail can drain our PW and a couple of misses against any 21~30 floor enemy can mean death

Yeah, this game is tough, and after a few playthroughs and seeing that 12 unique Scrolls was the most I ever got, it definitely seemed like it needed to be adjusted. I 100% agree, those Snails are run enders haha. Even the Blue Eyeballs can ruin a run if you're not careful and forget to change your armor before you encounter one.
	TwosomesUP 7 Oct 2024 15:19 As for the glitched Endings, I've not encountered that myself. It's possible it's an emulator issue, but it could just be the game is finicky. I've had the most luck using the Genesis Plus GX core during development. While PicoDrive has been the most buggy - especially if you use Save States.
	Jungon 7 Oct 2024 19:11 I am using Genesis Plus GX, might just be my luck, I also had 13 scrolls on my first beat, kept looking for the last one til the end, I think it was the ghost scroll looking at the scrolls list .. and there was a time I drank the wither potion, my attack was 42 before, ... and 18 after, completely ruined the play.. XD For the blue and red eyeballs, I have a trick that I always use with them, if they're alone it always works, it's kinda like a dance, attack, move aside, attack, move aside, if we get the timing right the enemy follows our lead =D
	OmniMirror 17 Oct 2024 04:43 Second time beating the game, but first time encountering the glitch. I *think* I may have beaten it following the no tossing or dropping potions/scrolls/rods constraints, but I have no way to prove that. I'm using RAMeka for my emulator. Also going to join in the complaints about the snails. With as powerful as they are in terms of permanently decreasing your stats, as well as with them being well, snails, one would think they'd also move at half speed. Oh well, I'll give it another go and see if the glitched ending actually blocks the conditional win achievements.
	TwosomesUP 17 Oct 2024 14:03 Yeah, this ending glitch is unfortunate. Any achievement that requires you to beat the game would be impacted. Let me see if I can't find an alternative trigger for clearing the game to reduce the likelihood of encountering problems due to it.

This change was made to resolve the issue related to the game potentially glitching and garbling the memory when transitioning to the ending scenes. 	OmniMirror 22 Oct 2024 05:14 Mastery #45: This is one of the first roguelikes to be released for a console, and it's as addicting as it is difficult. I had to pray a lot to RNGesus to finally get this one. When I got the other two game completion achievements, I did not run into the glitched ending, so I can't confirm one way or the other if it interferes with the achievements popping.
