^^^I had to do them all at once without saving or changing out of the story mode to get them to activate. Hope that helps <3

For some of the story achievements that aren't unlocking, try to beat three of the levels, then save and beat the last level. If that doesn't work, re-load the previous save and try it again. Sometimes that works, don't know why it does this.

Maybe it has to do something with unlocking new characters/levels. To those who plan on fixing the set, you might want to test my method and see if that is the result of some of them not unlocking the first time around.

Thank you so much for this set! I never get tired of playing Vigilante 8 and I was able to enjoy this great game again. The achievements were very well distributed and balanced.

Low-gravity achievement not working for me. I tried everything (1 vehicle, 4 vehicles, no damage at all (1 and 4 vehicles), unloaded and high octane)) and it wouldn't pop whatsoever. What's up with that achievement?

Hi! I also had problems with this achievement. I'll describe the combination that worked for me. I used the Beetle PSX HW core. I was playing with Slick Clyde VS 1 Boogie in the Ghost Town scenario. I was also on Premium High Octane difficulty and I didn't take damage and didn't get a recovery key. That was the combination that worked for me, maybe it works for you too.

I am using Duckstation for this, and I could unlock each and every single other achievement no problem (except the "Unleadead" one which triggered with just one enemy for some reason). I tried the Clyde vs. 1 Boogie as you said, still didn't pop. I did before on Site 4/Secret Base with a Molo. I tried it 5 times without receiving any damage whatsoever and it still didn't trigger. No matter what I do, it just WON'T TRIGGER (no power-ups, no damage, no wrenches), nothing.

I had asked other players and they got it in different ways. I think it's kind of random. It's always best to try with different characters, different scenarios, different enemies and different cores. I had gotten them all with DuckStation, but I had to switch to get this one. And even the way I tried it, it's no guarantee. I had tried the same way before and it didn't work.

All of the arcade challenges (incl. High Octane) worked with 1 enemy for me, I doubt it was intended that way.

Not completing the objective in level, and then returning to level and do it again, completing the objective, don't trigger the quests achievements.

146th Master. Glad to finally master the first Vigilante 8 game on the PS1. At first, the set was a bit broken and thankfully SlashTangent fixed the coding in the set. Now I gotta complete the second one, which is my favorite. Also, I did the sets' icon pictures.

Excellent game, reminiscent of my childhood, but I discovered midway through that the game I had played was "2nd Offense" and not this one. Nonetheless, I am determined to master this game first and then move on to the other one. Good luck to everyone
