Omnimon is easiest if you start with the vaccine team and keep your Agumon and continuously DNA it, though I suggest keeping the Metlgreymon and raising it to the max level it has of 27 to get one Digimon at least early on that after a DNA or two hits Mega.

Id arguably use the early MetalGreymon for Omnimon, and the starter Agumon at the Greymon level DNAd with Airdramon to get Veemon early. His line will always easily DNA back to Veemon making Imperialdramon a easy Mega as well. Even a Kunemom captured early will net Diaboromon by the end. Havent looked into not Baihumon yet.

Capturing Wargreymon doesn't seem to work for triggering the achievment. Made sure it was sent to digibeetle, and captured multiple times. Must be digivolved?

Just mastered it!!

I suffered so much with some of the achievements because it was all a matter of good luck doing stuff such as going up 42 floors in tera domain to catch the goddamn diaboromon hahah

I went back to 2002 again and had great +100 hours playing DW2. Best decision ever.

Btw, I have some tips and observations for some achievements so, I'll be posting in the comment section of some of them but here's my best tip: If you don't wanna have to do a loooong rerun, just like me, check the missable achievements [m] because some of them really take a long time to get! (for example, the disadvantage mega party against the guardian!!)

All in all, this was a wonderful experience and I got peace of mind by mastering DW2.

Still early on in the achievements here, but the most important thing to realize is that, unlike many other RPGs, this game seems to allow you to automatically succeed in running away from any random encounter. …I would be much further along if I’d realized this sooner…

If anyone would please be willing to share a save file right before they trade for MagnaAngemon please. I didn't realize the achievement didn't trigger and I've already gone 10+ save states past that point and retroarch only saves the last 10.

It's like 20ish hours into the game too. I suppose I could use cheat codes to give myself a mega team and blitz through the first part of the game just to get to that point, but that would take so long.

The next time someone is doing a playthrough please save me a copy of your .SRM file just before that point! I will appreciate you forever.
