Yes, the only way to make the achievements working is using the memory card. You can choose the save slot you want. Passwords won't work.

Found out for the "world without death" cheevs, you're allowed to die midstage, finish the other levels, and then finish only the pre-death sections of the first level.

Mastered! Great set, makes fun and is also very challenging. Be careful that you do not miss a cheevo in the last level before you complete it, the game saves automatically once done and you cannot replay it!

BUT I don't really agree with distribution of points.For me beating any boss without damage and extras (partially 25p) is a lot easier than the world without death cheevos (except Dream Forest and Candy Chateau) and they are 10p only each.

Yeah most often other regions ROMs won't work, achievements aren't exactly universal as different region of the same can have different memory addresses due to being different like having multiple languages.Adjusting these addresses isn't always easy often the creator would have to re create the achievements from scratch.As such and for other reasons The USA region ROMs are preferred.

Mastered. I agree with the post above that the world without death achievements should be worth more than 10 points. Particularly Band Land, Picture City, and the Caves of Skops. The other worlds are worth 10 points, but these three are very challenging and should be worth more imo.

Codes disable achievements. I used the second level of the dream forest to farm lives, there’s around 80 tings I believe. Another thing I did to help with lives for the no damage cheevs was to save before entering a level with a boss, rush through the level, attempt the no damage using continues if necessary, and then reload to get the lives back. This way you can have extra tries beyond the amount of lives you have and not lose the no continue cheev by reloading afterwards.

Hmm, about boss battles in this game... can we fight bosses only once? I just replayed mosquitos nest to repeat bzzit battle to do it without jumping and taking damage and there was no battle? So we need to do it on the first try or reloading the game from memory card?

It is bettter to ask now as i finished blue mountains and can still start again... not willing to but probably will if i cannot replay boss battles.
