Mastered! The third part is finished. Like the whole trilogy. It was with this game that my acquaintance with the Spyro trilogy began. The third part still plays well, the music is gorgeous, but it became noticeable that the game has become worse in some details, for example, there are no the same cutscenes before the start and end of the levels, as was in the second game. Thanks for the set! And this is where the Spyro trilogy ends.

Are the missable achievements only missable if you do a skip/proxy?

Yeah, there's a few moneybags you can skip ergo missable if you defeat the final boss before paying moneybags. Remember in the 4th world you can technically go straight to the boss with enough eggs, so world 4's payments are particularly missable, even without glitches.

Mastered the trilogy!
I must've beaten all of them over 10 times, but I had never gotten all the skill points, or cared about doing bosses damageless. Now I feel mentally freed. 😌 Thank you for the sets!

Trilogy mastered! Spyro 3 is definitely my least favorite of the three, but its more Spyro which I'm always down for lol

Mastered! This one has more difficult set than the other 2, but for all the wrong reasons. Doing damageless bosses that required the use of additional characters or vehicles was awful. Bosses are pretty simple, but the bad controls/camera and janky/buggy mechanics were the reason for like 90% of my failures. I finished the original trilogy so I could try the PS2/GBA spyro games that I've never played before but I think i'll take a break from spyro. This 3rd game was a bit too much for now.

Mastered! I feel like this is people's least favorite out of the trilogy, but I like it better than Spyro 2. Yeah, some of the mini-games are frustrating, but I never find myself getting bored & always have a good time playing. Maybe the skateboarding & boxing sections should've been removed, though...

As expected, this set was pretty simple. Not a bad thing, since the game's pretty simple itself.

My favorite Spyro game of all time, of course it had to be the first game I fully mastered on here. Great set for people fresh to the RA concept, a few nice challenges but overall mostly completion based.

Mastered. Insomniac's sendoff to Spyro sure is a lot. They went all in on the minigames, making them much more imaginative than most of the ones from Spyro 2, but then the bosses and speedways got watered down real bad. This one makes me wish I was playing Reignited the most of any game in the trilogy just to see the environments, characters, and setpieces in more detail - as opposed to Spyro 2 where I would really rather not look at the Reignited version's many grotesque character designs if I can help it thank you. Replaying them back to back, I'm struck by the stark tradeoffs between those two games.

In terms of gameplay I still vastly prefer the first game to either of the sequels, where the choice between the second and third game really comes down to which one's stupid janky minigames you enjoy more. I still prefer this one, since the things 3 asks you to do are just more conceptually interesting, so even if they aren't very deep, it's at least funny that you have to do a boxing match or a rail shooter or something. I also feel like there's less of my least favourite things, like trial and error memorisation exercises, or spitting rocks. Please stop asking me to spit rocks.

@kuwannu - well said and honestly I agree. 1 is my favorite too, and I prefer 3 to 2. I find many of the minigames in 2 to be more grating than 3's, especially things like the ice hockey, alchemist, and rock spitting. Many aspects of 3 feel closer to 1's style, such as platforming to find eggs hidden around levels instead of having to exclusively collect orbs from minigames/challenges (except in the homeworlds). Many of the level designs and concepts are far more interesting here as well.

This is the weakest game in the original trilogy in my opinion, and I actually think it's aged the worst too. It feels all over the place. Too many playable characters (with awful controls), and an obnoxious amount of side-areas and minigames. It's a shame as I enjoy playing through the actual levels as Spyro but the other stuff made it feel like a chore to complete, which wasn't the case for me for 1 or 2. Nice and straightforward set, although the controls made beating the Sorceress damageless a challenge. Thanks for the set!

Mastery #9, not sure how I feel about this one, I have nostalgia for it but it's definitely not as strong as the other, half the side characters aren't fun to play as, backtracking returns, and even a section where someone goes away so you can't complete some of the world's until they come back. It's still a great trilogy, it just doesn't end on the best note, although knowing which game is next I definitely can appreciate it more.

For me it's best game in the series, but I appreciate Ripto's Rage almost at the same level. When I was a kid I had a buggy pirated game (we didn't have licensed games at all, period) that never allowed me to finish it. Of course, Reignited fixed that, but I don't like how it redesigned a lot of the characters and levels. Coming back to this game is so cozy, especially after my playthroughs of Parasite Eve II lol. Nice set, although I wish we didn't have these bs no damage cheevos. Please, this game is not designed around that. It's not like Ripto's Rage where you could get infinite flame and challenge Ripto with that for your own pleasure. Anyway, these are minor nitpicks. Glad to have this game mastered.

My first ever set mastered makes sense that a game I rented and played a lot as a child would be the first one for me to achieve mastery. I hope to master Spyro 1 and 2 as well. A massive thanks to the Retroachievements site for challenging me and leading me to replay this masterpiece of a third trilogy game.

Forgot how much is "going on" in this game. Too many mini-games and way too many levels where you are playing as other characters. It just tried to do too much. In fairness to that, it's still a fun game and it's still majority Spyro. Well worth the mastery.
