MAN these time trial cheevs are tough! Polka Folka for instance, it wants me to push barrels in four rooms all in 1:05? MADNESS!

Most of them just require optimization in movement and easy little time-saves. Peg-Leg Polka's probably the hardest but you can make it easier with a nice karate kick in the final room.

So I decided to look up speedruns to help with Cheese Whiz and Polka Folka... turns out the latter is completely different in the PS version... and most speedruns are the PS version...

Yes, the N64 version gets no love but I believe Peg-Leg Polka and Mythology Network are the only two levels that got changed.

Had this game as a child, first time I've ever 100% the game was thanks to this set. Helped me remember how insanely frustrating this game is, and how awful the camera is.Thanks to the developers!

Be sure to save after you collect everything in a hub world or play a bonus game. Unlike when you get a remote in a level, the game doesn't prompt you to save for these, so it's easy to accidentally lose progress.

So Gex 3 on PS1 was released sooner, has different box art, and is rated T while the 64 version was rated E? Anyone know why or what the big differences are?

Bit late to answer this but whatever.
Watch the final cutscene of the ps1 version and you'll have your answer.
Other than that I think they cut out some of the more crass jokes specifically to save space
