As a Teenager I could „Speedrun“ trough this Game. One of my only N64 Cartridges with Ocarina of Time and Mario 64. The Boss Challenges especially Behemoth looks hard but I will try it.

Mastered. Awesome game. The Death and Crystal damageless and non crystal usage boss runs took some trial and error. Reinhardt and Carrie’s good ending hard runs weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be (youtube makes final Dracula a breeze), except for Carrie’s first boss fight with the Water Dragon, which is the TRUE final boss. I’d make sure Carrie’s stocked up before the fight (lots of crystals, full power if possible, and the axe subweapon if it can be found).

Afterwards, it’s just practice. When he tries to grab Carrie with his hand jump. When he covers Carrie in green goo, I find that by slashing all of it away with left c, it will give Carrie time to react in order to jump over the hand in time. He’ll let his guard down when he retracts his hand which is when he can be attacked with whatever you got (he can also be attacked before he spews out water too).

Watch out for his water move though. I find it best to have Carrie as far to the left on the bridge as possible. The trick is you’ll want the Dragon to tilt to the left over his shoulder (his right), and then wiggle the analog a bit to where he’ll get confused and only spew the water blasts to the left of you. Then you can simply go to the right and avoid his attacks. Afterwards, he’ll be in a bit of a daze and he can be attacked some more. Just keep repeating those patterns and you’ll win.

I agree the water dragon at the beginning of the game on Hard is the true final boss.
