Halloween 2023 - Evergreen (Events)

RetroAchievements events are a fun way for participants to seek additional challenges and discover new games. Many of these events are time-limited, requiring users to be active participants during the time the event is active. While there are new events always on the horizon, Evergreen events allow participants to delve into events of the past and be rewarded if they are up to the challenge.

🌿Evergreen events allow participants to earn new badges based on events from the past.
🌿Users that earned the original event badges are also eligible for the evergreen variant.
🌿In most cases, rules from the original events still apply to the evergreen version. Exceptions will be noted in the event specific section of this thread.
🌿Challenges may differ from the original event and may require more effort than the original badge.
🌿For automated events, players can track their progress directly on the event page.
🌿For non-automated events, all requirements for an evergreen badge must be completed before submission, unless that event is part of the partial submission program. Partial submissions will not be tracked.
🌿Evergreen events will have only one badge tier for each event.
🌿Not all events are eligible for evergreen badges due to the nature of some events.

Participants can earn a badge by completing all of the requirements for an evergreen event. The specific requirements will be unique to each event.
Evergreen badges will typically feature the same artwork as the original event’s top tier badge but will be overlayed with a green border and leaves to signify that it is an evergreen variant.

📌General Rules
📌All of the general rules listed below may be overridden by event specific rules listed in the appropriate section.
📌Past credit may be used for all evergreen badges, even if the achievements were earned prior to the original event or the evergreen variant launch.
📌For non-automated events, players must submit challenge completions to the Evergreen forum topic for validation. All requirements must be fulfilled before submitting.
📌For non-automated events, one alt account is allowed. Please declare it when you first use it and clearly state which achievements/challenges were completed using an alt.
📌All achievements must be earned in Hardcore mode, as required by other community events.
📌If you used an alt for any automatically tracked evergreen event, we will allow a one time transfer to your main account. We will not transfer achievements one by one, or in multiple batches.

🎲Rerolls
If an evergreen event allows rerolls, participants may do so by completing a reroll task. Rerolls will be available during specific times of the year and will be open for a week at a time. During the reroll period, players may complete unlimited reroll tasks but may not stack any. Only one reroll task may be earned outside of the reroll period and it may be turned in during the next reroll period.

Reroll tasks are designed to contribute back to the site and to encourage participation in other events. In order to earn a reroll, one of the following tasks must be completed:

i love the idea, only one little annotation i hope the badges get a little update inside the badge in my mind the green plants are perfect in a around in the example the half face is in plants :-D a little more decent would be very cool to see more from the picture but that is only my mind :-)

52 points for the main badge, only obtainable during the event (which has now ended).
The evergreen badge needs 156 points.
