Rack It Up [Always Evergreen]
Nov 25, 2023 3:49 PM, last edited Nov 22, 2024 5:19 PM

Welcome to RACK IT UP, the magazine event of the year
Start Date: 12/3/23
End Date: After Week 53 + Finale
(This Event is always evergreen)
In this event each player is assigned a random page from a classic magazine. With that page comes a task you are assigned from beating a level, beating a boss, beating a game, drawing, or maybe you will end up having to write some Metroid fanfiction. Whatever the pages of the past dictate is what you will need to do.
Most tasks will have both a Gamer and Dev version but not all.
Shortest Summary: Each week you get a task > do task > get point.
How To Get Badge: Earn All 53 points
How long does the event last: 53 weeks of new tasks but always evergreen
Can I miss weeks: You have no time limit to earn the badge
Why be active?: Those that do the task during the week influence the events path

**What does A week look like in this event?**
-Sunday Morning Chosen Magazine is revealed
-Players can request a roll
-Each player gets there task
-Sting reveals the next weeks poll
-Anyone that does that weeks task gets to vote in the poll
-Updates will happen every 1-2 Days
(Those that dont do the task still have the whole year)
~Process Repeats~
Each Week would be a goal but the goals are random per player, some may get Beat the game others may get beat a specific boss or world
Each week players would vote between 3 magazines

Q&A
**What if you land on a review**
You'll be beating the game it is
**What if you land on the fanart page**
Time to draw baby
**What if you land on the letters page**
One of the random subjects of the letters will be your task
**How long do players have to do this?**
You have the full year, your tasks will be available to see. But if you want to vote...
**What about voting???**
The advantage to doing your task during that active week is you get to vote on the next magazine
**What about if you did the task before?**
Prior credit is allowed ONLY if you have completed all possible options for a non-dev challenge in Hardcore. In all other cases, you must complete the task AFTER receiving your roll. When in doubt, ask!
**I don't see a magazine on the list can I suggest?**
Yes but if I can't find issues (and in english) I can't use it
**Will there be rerolls?**
Every 5 points you earn in the event will earn you a reroll token. Meaning you can earn up to 10 rerolls over the scoring weeks
**Do I have to do this all this year?**
No this badge will naturally slip into Evergreen mode meaning you can take as long as you want to work on said badge. Year 2 will be its own badge theoretically

Task: Beat any game taking place with a full Snow setting, featuring a blind person, or takes place in the far future OR Develop Project Snowblind

So I've beaten and mastered this game, I figured that Halo CE (the setting of this game) is set in the year of 2552 so it counts as a game set in the far future
