The reason I had to put these blocks in to place is because without them, our toolkit doesn't allow for enough logic to fit all the proper protection in for every single setting. Since I would have to manually lock in each setting for each available difficulty and each mode. So having to do a general lockdown of each mode's Default was the only option.

1)
Game must be played with all settings staying on DEFAULT. Changing any settings, be it in the Tournament Mode, Season, Franchise, Quick Play or in the general options will lock all achievements.

The only exception to this is Tournament Mode for choosing the type of Tournament. You can cahnge "Standard Tree" to International" and it will work properly as long as nothing else has changed in the settings from what they change to in that specific mode.

2)
Difficulty by default is set to "Pro" you cannot change this without the default setting falling off, the only achievement that will work if you change the difficulty setting is "Hey Now, You're an All-Star" which requires winning a game by 5 points on "All-Star" Difficulty.

3)
When playing the Battle Modes, you must play 1 player with 4 bots. Multiple controllers will disable achievements. You also must play in 1 game sequences, no multi-game play list as the memory for the game battles is terrible and there wasn't a way around it that I could find.

4)
Most game modes like Mini-Rink, Pond Rink, Battle Modes, Hit the Ice Modes and so on block the challenges in game, therefore will not trigger achievements.

Suggested to play on Tournament, Season, Franchise or Quick Play to earn achievements.

The game has some restrictions already in place similar to the above. Also blocking on Amateur but not blocking if difficulty is on Pro or above with all stats turned down hence the tight restrictions I've made on this set.

Sim can be used and with good rng you can get some unlocks but some are locked out of Sim so if you use it, use it with caution as you may be forced to restart a memory card to try again.

IF YOU UNLOCK A CHALLENGE AND YOUR SETTINGS WERE CHANGED, YOU'LL HAVE TO START A WHOLE NEW SAVE TO CLEAR THE CHALLENGES IN GAME OR THEY WON'T POP AGAIN.

Why NHL 2k10 over literally any other NHL 2K? No one even bought/played this game on Ps2. Puzzling.

People are doing sets for free and still, people can't just shut up and appreciate what we have. People should just thank everybody dev

Is there any fix for black glitches in the emulator? It's not a big deal, just an annoyance. Most noticeable during fights.

FolkSong I never had any issues with black stuff. Try changing the video renderer.

Changing the renderer didn't help, but disabling widescreen patch got rid of it.

Apparently there was a big audience of people who bought yearly sports games long after most people moved on to newer consoles. They kept making FIFA and PES until the 2014 versions! In fact those were the last two commercial games to come out for the system.

Are we allowed to change controller options or does that also mess with the achievements?

I have been playing it on the nightly build of pcsx2 and have the achievements working and set, already earning about 9-10 and noticed they havent been showing up on my retroachievement account even through i am earning them and seeing them pop up when i complete one on the emulator. Is there anyway you may know of to fix it, thank you again for the amazing set that i wish to be the first to badge!
