I was playing on very hard when I died at the last level & it unlocked the "Beat the game with X Character" achievement. It seems that as long has Shang Tsung is not himself nor Goro, the event will trigger when you lose

How to unlock "You Broke Diamond" & "You Broke" achievements ? No matter how many times I play through the tournament, I can only get wood, stone and steel. I've never seen ruby, not even once

You don't play in the tournament (well, maybe you could); just play with 2 Players until you get enough battles to trigger the corresponding level of Test Your Might.

How do I complete Test Your Might? No matter how fast I press the buttons the bar won't fill for me to break the piece.

Is it just me or is there really not much difference no matter which difficulty you play on? Very hard was... well, very easy in my opinion.

This port is honestly pretty bad. the hitboxes are all messed up, it feels sort of clunky and unresponsive (which is especially bad in a fighting game), for some reason your projectiles disappear if you get hit and all of that is without even considering the removal of blood and altering of fatalities.

all that being said it's still playable and I even prefer sub zero's fatality in this port. I think it fits him more than his arcade fatality

OK, I managed to do all the Test Your Might challenges. I used Turbo, and adjusted the settings in RetroArch under Input to set the Turbo Period to 4, and Turbo Duty Cycle to 2. This seemed to work perfectly, where I could hold the buttons down with Turbo on, and the meter would fill up completely without any issues.

I'm using the PS4 controller, but I don't believe that should matter.

Wow, this has some of the highest input latencies in a video game, which is why I decided to shift towards the Mega Drive version after playing the SNES port for a little bit
