Right after I beat the first gym, I was walking through the cave next to the city and out of nowhere a shiny Zubat. My shiny pokemon luck is never this good so this is a very bizarre feeling.

I found a Shiny Tangela in the Safari Zone but it fled before I could catch it, so if anyone is having trouble, and doesn’t want to wait potentially months for another shiny encounter you can use the cute charm exploit to guarantee a shiny encounter if you are desperate and pissed like I was lol

I've gotten really lucky this fine night. Started with getting Munchlax looking for Combee's for the macho brace. Then I get this training evs 10 minutes later. I got a shiny nugget(Geodude)

It's not toxic, they are just happy they found it during their playtrough and wanted to share it. The achievement isn't that big of a pain, pokeradar exists, glad you found your shiny earlier today tho :)

Oh I am not looking forward to this one. The only shinies I've ever caught were from gen VI onwards.

Decided it would be a wonderful idea to get this achievement by getting Shiny Giratina.
I got it, but NEVER AGAIN. The grind was mind numbing. I really should have just done Poke Radar strats lol

@Boured your guide worked wonders, I did it with Shinx and used Electebuzz Static to increase the Electric Type encounters. Was quite easy to get 40 chains after only 3 tries, it was on Route 203 with the biggest grasspatch obviously. After that took only a few minutes until the sparkle patch showed up.

Pretty sure this achievement wouldn't be a thing if the Pokeradar wasn't a thing or it would be rather in subsets.

Kind of a bummer it has trashy nature and has Rival instead of Intimidate ability, would've loved to use it in Battle Frontier.
