I only used the blaziken in the party and my achievement didn't show up, I beat wally about 3 times and nothing...

For those wondering why the achievement didn't show up: Trainers that have a Trainers Eye listing are able to be rematched, yes, but when they do, their team will be slightly different each time, most of the time just being at a higher level and giving a higher money reward. Battle Wally at Victory Road once during your main progression, then rematch him 3 more times, then on your 4th (or higher) rematch, his team will be the same. That harder version of Wally is the one this cheevo is talking about, solo Wallly's 4th rematch team.

Just have a level 70 Gardevoir and you can destroy Wally's entire team.

Quite a few sources say you can rematch Wally once per day, but it seems to actually be based on steps instead. The game has a chance to allow a rematch with him every time you enter the area he's in (Victory Road) after having taken 256 steps. So basically, you can go to the outside area just before the Pokemon League, ride your bike for a while, then occasionally enter Victory Road and talk to Wally to see if he'll rematch you.

You need to have a single pokemon in your party for this to work, at least that's how it worked for me. Level 82 Womanectric.

Can confirm that you need to have only one Pokémon in your party in order for the achievement to trigger. Did this with a level 81 Zangoose w/ Swords Dance. Fought against Wally twice (with his final team) using 6 Pokémon and it did not trigger, but only when i decided to only have a single Pokémon in the party.
