If you want an easy time with this guy, just go ooga booga with Gaea Armor. This guy is really annoying to properly think of an strategy considering the randomless of some of his attacks.

It's a less random battle if you use the falcon armor... Although it still very hard.

I tried to do this one with Zero, with him at Lv. 11. I had FIVE attempts that were going well until I tried to go towards him to attack him and an electric block spawned right where I was going, and I took damage with no way to avoid it. Two of these happened in a row. I'll keep trying to master this later, but I'm starting to get really tired of this set's bullshit, a problem I didn't have with the previous 4 X games.
If you want to try this one with Zero, try to fight him at Lv. 8.
