I used the secret level select code to start on Stage 5, and I got the achievement for clearing Stage 5 without dying, but not this one. Now I don't know if it was because using the level select disables this (which unlike other such achievements isn't informed by this one's description), or if it was because this checks for life count changes and I gained a life during the fight... (50k points after beating the first one)

It Didn't unlock for me either. Got the trophy for completing the stage 5 without losing a life, but the boss didn't unlock.

Changed "Bosses" to "bosses" and "Difficulty" to "difficulty"

Could you click "Report an issue" above and make a ticket for it? That'll make it easier for devs to track it and fix the achievement. Uploading your save states (if you made any) and linking them in the ticket helps a lot too.

was fine for me. haven't beat round 5 deathless yet too. what i did was play as blaze get to boss with 2 specials use those and have pipe beat them quickly.
