This one kind of baffled me as you need to turn on the light to get the key at least very least. Figured out that you can 'clear' the first part of the map, then turn your light off and kill 3 before the key and 2 after.

Didn’t have any issue getting a key. I just turned my light off as soon as I entered the sewers and started smashing every enemy I encountered. First there were just some dirty roaches to take care of, very easy, then maybe one or two larger enemies and that was it. I think it was only after that that I had to get a key for something. Perhaps the difficulty setting affects the number of enemies that spawn. Personally I cleared this one playing on normal difficulty.

On normal this achievement is very simple, but on easy you will need some finagling. First, run(with the light on)to the end and get the key, then run to the hallway door that leads to the ladder. Once you have unlocked this door, turn off your light and radio and kill the two creepers just before the ladder then go back through the hallway door(give it a few seconds between the creeper kills, as if you kill the second too fast it might not recognize you as killing two.) Once through, go kill all the bug guys that you can. If you killed both creepers this should be easy as there are three walking around. If you accidentally kill the second creeper to fast, then you need to bait the bug guy hanging from the ceiling(outside the door after you get the key)into dropping down. I'm not sure how you do this, but I got him to fall by running to the boats on the opposite side of the hall from were you get the key. If you do all this then you should get the achievement, otherwise restart.

On easy difficulty we go up to the 2nd floor, run for the key, take a pickaxe, kill 3 monsters, go out and go and meet 2 cockroaches

If you're having trouble seeing the roaches, use Egor's method, but after grabbing the key and killing the first 3 lizards, turn around and keep going backwards until you encounter two more lizards.
