Be careful here! Do not use any special gasoline weapons, Katana or Hyper Blaster. Only use pistol, rifle and hammer otherwise it won't count correctly the values of defeated enemies for the 10 stars. I learned this the hard way when it only gave me seven stars.

Soooo... before i try this one, is this achivement locked for New Game Only? or can i do it on "next fear"? After all we get 10 stars at the 5 gameclears mark.

Nope. The only achievements locked to a new game are the unmissable progression achievements.

Для тех, кто хочет взять это достижения. Везде советуется не использовать бонусное оружие, т.к. оно режет рейтинг. И это правда. Однако есть небольшой предел для некоторых экземпляров, в рамках которого его можно использовать. Так вот, для катаны это что-то около 45 ударов (берите лучше 40, благо я делал максимум столько, и рейтинг не снижался). Катану целесообразно использовать в госпитале, т.к. она очень быстро убивает медперсонал. Мне хватало её примерно на 80% всех тамошних монстров, дальше доставал молот (чтобы дочистить подвал + потайной этаж).

There are a ton of guides on the web, but I disagree on the consensus where they told you where to save. My two picks were:

- Before the Stinger boss fight or in the first Sewers
It's easy to die in the sewers and the moth can give you some headaches if you are not careful enough. Try to use the minimal amount of health items in this boss fight. There's a chance, although small, that you'll spend too much rifle ammo on both parts. You'll probably have to use the shotgun too, which is risky for the accuracy requirements. The parts around the boat are pretty though as well, so being skilled in these parts of the game is vital to the 10-star rank.

- The last Hospital
It's the last stage of the game, the reason for picking this place is time. In case your runtime is a little higher than the required , you can retry and do it a little faster, skipping the items you don't really need and killing only the necessary enemies. This part doesn't have a map, but don't let that frighten you, because it's a smaller area than it looks and kinda easy to memorize. Check for speedrun routes in case you are struggling.
The ideal time for this part is less than 1:50:00, but you can still do it by 1:52:00. If it's 1:55:00 or above, your run is probably over and I recommend doing another one.
The last boss is pretty easy if you have tons of med kits. That's the reason for being economic with health items, so you won't have to save in Alessa's room, which is a waste of saving places. Otherwise, this boss will be trouble and (unless you are really skilled or patient) your run is over.

For those who accomplished this. Was it necessary to count your fighting/shooting kills? Because having to essentially pause the game to press a button in a counter app is pretty annoying and no normal person can keep track on two counters in their head for an entire run.

Luks, you can use the Rich Presence feature to check on your page game progress, including kills of each type. Hope it helps :) GL
