This is was rough one. My biggest piece of advice here is to make sure you get to the fight with your full spreadshot powerup (if you die, just restart the level. Save the invincibility powerup for the last hallway to save tons of time). Get behind him and just unload your spreadshot into his ass at point blank range (he cant shoot you if you are behind him). You can do this without the powerup but dear god does it take forever (I honestly found it more efficient to just restart the level). The dangerous part comes in when he splits into two. Because then you cant stay behind both halves at once. One of the halves mostly just circles the arena and is easy to take out quickly, but the other one is extremely annoying. He just spins around and is constantly shooting at you. Just take your time at this point and chip away at him. You will probably be out of spredshot at this point.

This is by far the hardest achievement of the set. The Sorceress is so easy compared to this one lol

Most annoying thing about this one is dying to restart when you fail, where somehow it becomes hard to get hit and you wonder how you even failed in the first place lol.

You don't get damaged by touching the boss, so just hug his back and fire into him and its really easy.

I can confirm that using the invinsibility butterfly along with the spreadshot ammo power up you can get in previous rooms does make this achievement significantly easier.

I just spent an hour trying to do this without any power ups, and waiting by the door is just not a guarantee. There are times where the two halves will perfectly shoot three shots at you where there's little time to maneuver out of the way. Should have listened to MrV0ID. It's possible to do this and kill the boss before the invincibility runs out. Just make sure the boss door will open before attempting this.

Thanks to everyone here for their tips. Just leave the invulnerability butterfly and go through the level until you unlock the boss room. Make sure to keep all of your spreadshot power up. Come back to the previous room, grab that invulnerability and dash to the boss room. If anything, you can at least finish one of his halves in time, then it should be easy staying on his tail. I managed to kill him in one go.

Id say try it a few times before committing to restarting the whole level to get spreadsheet and invincibility if you didn't first try it. I'm sure they help but they're certainly not required and it's a pretty tedious level imo

You can sit @ the door, fire & avoid occasional shots, then when they split, chase the middle one from behind (the outside one will rarely get a shot at you if you stay away from the outskirts) then switch focus. Stay behind them and they don't shoot those funky projectiles.

Absolutely no need to restart on hit. I'd be physically ill if I forced myself to replay these terrible levels for a single powerup everytime.
