    For some reason this achievement can pop up randomly when you die... so I got it even when Ripto kicked my ass XD

    This cheevo appeared to me in the beginning of the cutscene after defeating him, not after the last hit.
    If someone is confusing...

    This is definitely a problem related to the PAL version. I played the NTSC version and it popped flawlessly after the first attempt.

    The 1st round is easy (Spyro vs. Ripto), 2nd round is hard (Spyro vs. Metal Gulp), and the 3rd round is easy (Spyro vs. Pterodactyl).

    I'm having a difficult time with the 2nd round because when Metal Gulp gets a hold of the 3 red orbs, fire worm comes out and will only go away if you get hit from it. The green orbs releases green lasers from Metal Gulp's eyes making it somewhat hard to dodge by jumping. I haven't gotten any luck from perfecting this so far.

    It looks like if you can dodge the fireworm (3 red orbs from Metal Gulp). Once it gets in the lava, it will die.

    I feel like this is not even worth 10 points... the super flame ability just breaks all the no damage challenges
