Give Cloud Counter + Mime in all slots, except in the last two, in the last ones put a Final Attack + Phoenix. Bring a character with W-Item and use Hero Drinks and Megalixirs. Don't worry about using too many, since you can get them back with the W-Item glitch. Start the fight using Hero Drink + Megalixir, then wait for Emerald to attack, so Cloud will counter it with Mime, he will use Hero Drink + Megalixir a couple of times. Then just use Omnislash, wait for Emerald to attack, Cloud will Counter + Mime again and he will do Omnislash a couple of times. Don't worry if he dies, that's where Final Attack + Phoenix comes into play. Repeat the process of Hero Drink + Megalixir and then Limit + Counter + Mime.
