Pikachu isn’t required for this achievement, but given you’re going to need to beat the Elite Four solo with Pikachu to master this set, you should be over -leveling Pikachu anyways

So I left this until the very end. I managed to do this achievement with a Lvl 100 Pikachu, Lvl 52 Blastoise, Lvl 37 Charizard.

You DON’T have to use only one Pokémon, you can use a full party if you like. You’ll need more than one anyway because you will likely run out of moves.

Make sure you have a Pokémon who knows Cut (HM01) because you’ll need to defeat 2 trainers who are hidden away.

Fly to Lavender Town and save your game just to be safe. Then head South and that’s when this achievement will begin.

On my run I used the Poke Flute for Snorlax and then just ran from the battle because I had already caught him previously. I also DIDN’T go inside the Fishing Guru’s House.

You should face, 37 different trainers during this gauntlet run but if your Pokémon are over levelled it’s pretty straight forward.

Does the archiving only start as soon as you trigger the first trainer?

Fiz com Snorlax 40 spamando Strength e Body Slam, usando o Pikachu 45 hora ou outra e um Blastoise 37 de reserva. Tinha um Mew na party pra usar o Cut quando necessário.
O que eu fiz foi salvar em lavander e levar todos os meus Max Ether, alguns revives e potions.
Desci e fui completando, consegui na terceira tentativa por que tem uma Clefairy maldita no final que fica piquititinha e desvia de tudo, ferrou minha run 2 vezes.
Enfim, completei e carreguei o save em lavander pra não perder os ethers

Went in fishing guru's house to get Super Rod -- the achievement still popped for me after beating the last trainer. Was scared for a sec that going into the house would kill the achievement

I agree with wesleywithoutat above, it would have been amaxzing to have a counter for this. Please consider updating this achievement to have this quality of life improvement.

What happen if you accidentally walk into the route? I walked into route 15 without thinking but did not battle any trainers. I do not want to do another save file.

This was a fairly easy (long) achievement if you do it at the end. I had level 100 Pikachu with Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Body Slam, and Thunder. He took out most trainers. Then when he ran out of PP, I let him struggle a few times and switched over to Mewtwo. Mewtwo knocked out the rest of the competition with Swift or Psychic.

I went with a diverse team with level 50 and it was very peaceful. But just in case, leave it saved in Lavender and only save it when you're done.

Eu usei um time nivel 29 ao 36(ficaram nivel 36 no final) umas 10 super poções e uns 5 revives para pegar a conquista.

O time foi Pikachu, Nidoking, Charizard(evoluiu no final), Venosaur(evoluiu no final) e Warturtle.

Pelo que eu entendi, ela só começa a contar se você derrotar um dos treinadores, depois disso, segue derrotando os outros, ou então reseta para se preparar melhor.

I used a team level 29 to 36 (they were level 36 in the end) about 10 super potions and about 5 revives to get the achievement.

The team was Pikachu, Nidoking, Charizard (evolved at the end), Venosaur (evolved at the end) and Warturtle.

From what I understand, it only starts counting if you defeat one of the trainers, after that, you continue defeating the others, or reset to prepare yourself better.

It was not clear for me, I had to try 3 times before succeeding : you have to start from Lavender town, not from west (Snorlax)

Can confirm what Pandsu commented above. DO NOT walk into Snorlax before arriving at Lavender Town. For those who don't know you arrive at Vermilion city after defeating misty, the water pokemon gym leader. There is a dock to the southeast leading to the s.s. anne. Do not continue heading east through the building. You can stay on the west side of the building just don't go through to the other side. Thank you to the achievement creators. However, a real beginner's trap.

Much easier than I expected, having a Nidoking with Thrash helps a lot, I grinded my whole team to be around level 35 ~ 40 before doing this, I had Nidoking, Charizard, Venusaur, Vaporeon, Pikachu, and the Hitmonchan from the Dojo (but thanks to Nidoking, I didn't even needed to use Charizard or Hitmonchan), it carried the team, Vaporeon's Ice Beam and Aurora Beam were also very useful.

first try with level 36s, only thing close to fainting was pikachu and only cause of a late poisonpowder that i forgot to buy full heals for

So weird this achievement popped after I defeated the elite 4 but I know for sure I didn’t beat those trainers in one session. Like I whited out and flew away and everything so I don’t know. But at least now I don’t have to do a second play through.

Start from Lavender town and bring a mon the knows cut because 2 trainers are behind trees. If you don't want to fight the Snorlax, then you can visit Fuchsia through cycling road to pick up Surf and just go around the Snorlax. None of the battles are difficult, but you'll likely run out of moves if you stick to only 1 or 2 mons because of the sheer number of pidgeys and spearows the trainers throw at you.

This achievement seems to have had a counter added since some of the earlier comments, which shows up after beating each trainer. Tracking only starts once you beat your first trainer on the routes, and then resets if you leave the routes.
