I saved the game during my one session run in getting this achievement and I suspect it didn't unlock as a result. Can this be fixed or added to the description e.g. (One session, No Surf, No Saving)

I don't mean to be rude but I don't see the point in this achievement. What's perfect about 209? Why does it have to be in the first try? I got it because of the map our friend mentioned in the other comment. It felt pointless

Omg what a night mare!!!!! Again like others because this one wasn't made clear i didn't do it first time (and i saved inside too the first time) BUT i didnt get surf ran my steps out to start over and tried again second run (without saving inside) i got the achievement

even if you forgot to do it the first time and already got surf (like i did) you can just do it again later

Not as bad as I thought it would be. I saved right before entering the safari zone to get this achievement. Kinda fun to run through safari zone a few times to get it perfect. Now I know the safari zone like the ba k of my hand, haha.

This cheevo can come back and do it retrospectively. But after you get HM03, you will definitely still get this cheevo. Just press start to check your step count. If you're down to exactly 209 when near an NPC, you're doing it right. But if you don't have 209 steps left, you've made a mistake. Try following the picture, but it doesn't have to be as close to the picture.

Quite simple. You don't have to follow the route on the above map exactly, essentially hug the wall and make sure you make the right turns and you'll get it.

You have to have exactly 209 steps remaining when you talk to the guy, or *at least* 209 steps?
