I was just curious. In all my runs of the game I don't think I have ever not released Kotch when you are about to first infiltrate Shinra HQ. Thought maybe there might have been a reason for the achievement being so specific but I guess not.

Ok When revisiting Midgar on Disc 2. Kotch is found shackled to the table in the Don Corneo's basement.

Apos a missao de vestir o Cloud de mulher, siga o jogo e ignore a mansao de Corneo. Quando possuir o Tiny Bronco NAO inicie a missao das materias roubadas em Wutai. No disco 2, apos resgatar o Cloud em Mideel, pegue a Sector 5 Key em Bone Village.

Wait, do I need to NOT do Wutar Sidesquest? Then why this achievement isn't with that glass effect? I searched everywhere in Don Corneo's mansion and didn't find anything.

You don't need to revisit Midgar on Disc 2. You can find Kotch in the basement in Disc 1 while revisiting Wall Market with Tifa and Barret in the party. Just help him and you will get the cheevo when he leaves the room.

go back to dons place right before you clime up to the shinra building and go to the basement and help him.

This achievement is placed in the list in a weird position. I was going in order, so I would have missed this if I didn't stumble upon it on accident.

Yah this tripped me up. The achievement order indicates you should do this on Disc 2 after 4 Huge Materia. Every other achievement is ordered well. It should also be marked as missable to indicate that reading it before starting your journey is a good idea.

Definitely needs to be marked as missable. Tried getting it on Disk 2 (had already did the Yuffie/Wutai side quest) and Kotch was not there. Luckily I had an old save at the Shinra building in disk 1, so ran back to Wall Market and obtained it.
