For anybody trying this in single player, save yourself some time and do it in 2 player instead, makes it 100 times easier lol

Anybody have any tips for this one? I can't seem to manage it, is there any way to get the little guy down without hitting the big guy?

When the little guy got on his shoulders I'd guide them up to the top of the screen and do a jump attack to knock him off then go down to the bottom. The little guy is faster so I could get some hits in before the big guy caught up.
