    First reach 100k scorepoints to get 1x continue (if it's game over). 100k points = 1x continue, 200k points = 2x continue and 300k = 3x continue etc.

    wish there was a way to forcibly enable hard mode without needing to beat the entire game first

    i completed hard mode with 29+ lives but this didn't trigger. Did I do something wrong?

    just in case anyone else ran into the same issue I did, I had used a save state and apparently that caused the achievement to not pop the first time i beat the game on hard mode.

    suprisngly this mode wasnt ultra hard. It was harder than base mode I got this cheevo in second try. In first I got to 4-2
