I tried a lot of ideas to obtain this achievement, but none of them worked. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Use the secret entrance into the pyramid and do a double jump into the star directly after the platform goes down

Oh, so you cant touch any platform besides the star one. I was kinda confused, thanks for the help.

If you kill Mario in the quicksand after messing it up, you get a checkpoint right at the point where you get on the elevator platform, which is perfect.
