You can actually succeed in getting the star with the bouncing crate. It will obviously not unlock this achievement, but it's fun to do.

I'd get close, but then the stupid black ball will shoot a fireball making me rush or get hit and lose the block or I'd fuck the jump up the Pyramid and lose it anyway. Anybody got a video or something?

To make life a lot easier, get rid of all enemies who can encounter with you and crate on the road. Then, with crate, on pyramid, jump without moving, and then jump for second time while walk button/joystick is pressed/completely moved forward.
