In case someone doesn't know, the VI Refresh and Framerate set to Fullspeed can affect the timer and the spawn of the enemies.

i was trying for hours, and changing this respectively to "Auto" and "Original" i get the achievement in 10 minutes, improve very much my attempts

Its not too bad but you HAVE to at least combo the gold ones for 2x points. 10 points each compared to 2 and 3 will spawn through the 60 seconds

F1-> Core Options after you load Donkey Kong 64 up. I had VI Refresh(OverClock) at 1500 and Framerate at Original, but a lot of this achievement come down to getting a lot of combos.

This one was harder than the damageless bosses lol. For anyone confused about the combo scoring: Hits are added up first, and then the x2 multiplier is applied at the very end. This means that for the golden beaver, it doesn't matter where in the combo string you hit it.

You barely have enough time to hit the golden beaver 3 times in a round, and you most likely need to combo it all 3 times to hit 175, so start the round by going straight to the golden beaver even if for a 2 hit combo. If there's no immediate combo potential for spawn 2 and 3, they all chase you so you can herd them or even stand still while surrounded by them in hopes they all close for a sudden combo (which is how I saved my run and finally got it).

Bruh the score for this achievement was lowered and it's still borderline impossible. Best I've done is 154 and that was BARELY possible, I'd argue 150 is the best score for this kind of achievement, going from 200 to 175 just took it from impossible to borderline impossible.

5th try going in a circle motion going for whatever times 2 you can get

gold beaver can be pilled up by letting them chase you then turn around for combo with others but dont spend more than 5 seconds on it

reset early if gold doesnt combo and dont just mindlessly ram(by) your head against a wall and you will do just fine

Changing the VI refresh and Framerate options in the does seem to make it lightly easier but could just be confirmation bias, only got to 172 points and was randomly unlocked in a ~160 points run for some reason, achievement logic might be a little off or maybe was updated without it showing, not sure

Is this cheevo broken? I scored 190 and the cheevo don't pop up.

I play with the tag anywhere mod where every bonus from the fairys are already unlocked maybe this is the problem because i don't naturaly unlocked the bonus game within the main game from collecting these fairys.

People are still earning it so no, it's not broken per se. There is an issue with the tag anywhere patch that I will look into when I get a chance. In the meantime feel free to stop leaving comments about it everywhere.

It is one of these ones were you just invest enough time until rng hits you.

I got this finally with this tactic:

Change Framerate to original and VI refresh to 1500.

Without this it is most likely impossible.

Kill the gold beaver with combos 3 times. Ideally star with a 3 combo and aim for that.

In the meantime hope to get some normal blue beaver combo.

Put on a movie or sth and repeat this until you want to puke.

This 1% skill and 99% rng luck.

Enguarde cheevo was much better here were all you needed was git gud.
