Very frustrating. Especially last 10 seconds when the other Kasplat spawns and they're just slamming the ground like crazy.

Took me about 15 min. I found running along the outskirts of the circle is best. The shockwaves wont reach across the entire circle if the Kasplats hit it, you have enough time to make it to the opposite side and not have to jump. Diddy is fast so keep them with in a safe distance with a slower run and I felt the shockwaves where triggered less often if they keep chasing you close. Using jump + B helped too for the situations where both Kasplats hit and you need extra time in the air. Then same idea once the 3rd comes in at the end except I used the Z+jump to stay in the air as long as possible. You can bounce off there heads without killing them so it buys more time too. Best to do this in the center so if one does hit you, you dont fall off and can use the damage cool off to re center and Z+jump again. Just be careful you stop and dont long jump off the edge lol

ok i found a glitch, if you go to the very edge of the arena the AI kinda glitches out and loses aggression and made it WAY easier, you just have to jump to dodge the occasional slam from the kasplats and hope that they don't stumble into you

Am I the only one who didn’t really have a problem going for this achievement..? I got it in like 20 minutes.
Defeating K Rool w/o getting hit once is WAY worse.

Staying the corner works best for this achievement. Also, jumping on a Kasplat's head is not allowed for some reason, as it didn't pop the first time when I did that.

For some reason I couldn't figure out the corner trick, I understand what people were talking about but I kept on having the kritter always on my tail. What helped me a lot, was running in large circles and jump /spin attack to keep the gap wide between diddy and the Kasplat's attack.

At the end of the day I am not sure who this achievement is really for besides hardcore DK64 fans.

Done this several times and doesn’t trigger. Is there supposed to be a way to avoid the enemies dying when the crown appears?

I echo Crum's sentiment...I got it before the logic change but it was not retroactively awarded, and as a missable I have to do it again, which is frustrating.

This one was a tough cookie!
What did it for me was run circles in the outer ring and try to be out of range of the mobs AoE attacks. And on ocassion use jump + B to dodge the AoE's when needed.

In the outer ring there is a small area at the edge of the ring that remove agro from mobs!
So if you menage somehow to group the together , get the crocodile mob to be blocked by the 2 big guys , you can bassicly stand on this edge but they will move around.

But the best method is running in circles at the outer ring of the arena.
You can (without pentalty) stop them from doing AoE aslong as you don't kill them!

Avoid the easy mob at all time!
1 hit is all that bugger needs!

Yup, Diddy’s jump + b move helped out much here. It’s rather similar to Tiny’s hovering move. Took me about 30 minutes - 1 hr. And like 50 tries.

But with Diddy I ran in circles around the arena and with enough practice, you’ll get efficient at it and not fall off or get knocked off by the shockwaves.

I hated when one enemy did a shockwave, delayed, then the other one immediately followed. The trick was to delay the jump and jump + b into the middle of the arena and keep repeating, and always aim away from the Kremlin.

When the fourth enemy is summoned, just stay in the middle. They’ll keep hitting you but nothing will ever happen.
