    I'm guessing this doesn't work with the bottle which the damn Takkuri keeps stealing (I've been trying to lose the sword but so far every time it's been the bottle it took).

    Try to hold your Basic Sword. (B Button) and get hits. It's 80 % poissible this bird can steal it.

    so the easiest way to get the one is to have the gilded sword and like FreudianLisp said have your bottles full i tried for a hour with the basic sword and he wouldn't take it. i switch saves and got it on the first try

    This should logically count with GFS too since it is taking a sword.

    The Takkuri vulture will NOT steal your default sword if you're wearing something that denies the B-button sword attack (like the Blast Mask).

    In those cases, it will always steal the Great Fairy Sword, an Empty Bottle OR it will mug you for cash.

    Apparently, the way this is coded, you can get credit for buying your sword back by resetting time while inside the Curiosity Shop instead of paying the ransom for it, lol.

    Doesn’t help with getting it stolen in the first place, but just something I discovered accidentally.
