Either I got super lucky or there is definitely some bias towards the player here like with later Kirby games and collectibles like this. I don't think I even collected 200 cards total. Probably significantly less.

the card RNG for me was actually very generous. I only had to beat around 150 stages to get this done

It's definitely skewed towards new cards. I didn't seem like I got that many doubles, all things considered. I did get a brief panic though, as I forgot the "open" part of the chievo description. Luckily I happened to open them all anyways and it all worked out.

As everyone else said, there's not many duplicates to deal with. I only started seeing more duplicates than new cards when I had 10 to go

Math had huge empathy for those who went out and get the cards, hence the whopping 50 points lol. Biggest snorefest of a achievement so far for me.

What's the best power for grinding 1-1? Fire+Bomb? Ice+Ice? Stone+Needle? Stone+Stone?

I used Electric + Slash, kirby knows how to use a dual lightsaber well

Rock + Cutter definitely works well. Cut a few times until you get the little bird, his speed is faster than kirby's run. Plus you can just tank every enemy, so you can mindlessly just rush through the level, pausing for a second on the mini-boss. And it makes it easy to use Turbo, if that's your prerogative.

Okay, update for anyone still popping by. If you set the Turbo speed in the emulator to 6x (might work higher, haven't tried every possibility), AND you have a controller or emulator capable of turbo function (rapid hitting button), you can run Fireworks (bomb + fire), and just hold the attack button and right. You might get hit once or twice at the miniboss, and same at the cannon section towards the end. Once or twice I've hit it enough times to lose my ability. And in the water at the end, it might take a second or two to get up the ledge. But total run time is ~15 seconds and you only have to hold right and attack.

Don't bother grinding for boss cards if you haven't fought all the bosses yet. The game won't drop the respective card til you've beaten the boss on it once.
