I managed to catch all three within 30 minutes with the emulator sped-up. I got extremely lucky and encountered Suicune earlier by accident and somehow I managed to encounter both Raikou and Entei only flying to Mahogany once. From there, catching all three was a breeze as my Jynx typically outsped them.

It's also advisable to save your Master Ball for Raikou.
If you save before encountering, Lugia and Ho-Oh can be easily battled repeatedly for as many attempts as needed so you can use Ultra Balls on them.
But the Legendary Beasts are much more frustrating as you have to try and find them again after they escape. While Entei and Suicune are tricky on their own, Raikou is the fastest and is more likely to flee or use Roar before your Pokémon gets to move, especially after the first turn.

I tryed every single video tutorial and the guide above, didn't work for me.
The strat that worked for me was going to Mt. Silver, walk all the way to New Bark Town and try getting encounters on every route. Within 10 minutes I found the two I was missing.

Messed up and used master ball on Suicune instead of Raikou, then had terrible luck catching him using 88 ultra balls, even after getting him down to red and putting him to sleep and scary face every time. It was rough.
