Just dont pay them when asked, they will return in a later world where you can complete the quest :D

i think so, i paid them once in the warp zone and fought them afterwards in w6, dunno if they appear again later tho :P

I paid them off in New Donk, and someone in the Discord said they appear in W8, so we'll see if the achievement pops then

yup I paid them off each time they appeared and they still showed up again and again. You'll unlock this in a later world

how do you trigger these guys coming after you? i didn't take the loan until i was in world 7 or 8 already and i haven't seen em since the initial time they jumped me to take 300 right outside the building i got the loan in. there was no option to do anything in that instance, and it sounds like i may have skipped some scripted instances. beat the game and done plenty of postgame stuff with no sign of them. is this actually missable?

The first time they jump you with the bandits you just lose, you can't choose to pay or not, try going world to world to see if it happens, then there's one when you enter mayor pauline's building too, the last one is entering and walking a bit in bowser's world, don't know if it is missable, but maybe the events still happen even after you cleared the game

ayy, i never found the one at pauline's building. tysm! seems like it's doable at any time as long as you go to the right locations in order

Started this in postgame, this is the order of locations that worked for me(saying No everytime when I had the option):
1-Exit the loan shark building.
2-Interact with the world 5 warp pipe.
3-Attempt to enter pauline's building.
4-Cross the starting bridge at world 8.

If the world 5 warp pipe doesn't work, try the world 6 warp pipe.
