Once I got a game over with all 80 badges, I got the achievement. See if that works for you too

lol that worked, thanks !If others have the same issue: you have to save the game after you get the badge, and before you let yourself die. I suggest you make a copy of the save file before though, just to be safe.

It unlocks after the game over when you go back to the File Select screen.Anyway, I can go kick Bowser's ass with my mind at ease :pThanks again :)

should be mark as missable as if peach has an a badge on her and does not insert it into the chest for mario before the end of the chapter 6 peach interlude it becomes unobtainable

giant show of how piss poor the quality control of this site is when a problem complained about over 5 years ago is still unfixed.... trusted it not having a (M) tag and was royally screwd for it...

Got it! But this one should be flagged as missable too. As people have said, if Peach keeps the badges after chapter 6 you can’t get them anymore.

Please mark this as missable in case someone decides to not pick up and put badges with peach in that transfer chest, please.
I had not played this game in so long that I forgot after chapter 6 I had no more free roaming as Peach and am now at the end of the game with 79/80 badges due to (LAST STAND) disappearing due to her holding it.
I now have to replay the entire game and waste fifteen hours getting all the star pieces all over again and doing extra side quests just to unlock this and finish my run. :(

@ConfluentOhm Ah! Should've checked on this thread. Literally the same thing just happened to me and I forgot you don't hang about after the boss battle. Egg on my face!
Definitely a missable achievement.

Ugh, had no idea the badges Peach picks up had to go into a chest, and I don’t recall the game telling you this. So dumb.

Unlocked for me upon getting the Deep Focus badge just outside Bowser’s castle. 64 badges can be found in the levels and bought from Rowf. The other 15 traded for Star pieces. I forgot the one at the well in Flower Fields which involves tossing a blue berry into it.

For whatever the badge list that is currently linked in the guide (mariopartylegacy) has a false entry for the other Flower Saver badge. It's obtained by throwing a blueberry down the well.
