    I'll explain how I did it. As soon as you start the game, DO NOT GO TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MANSION. Explore the left side, and as soon as you get back to the Hall of the mansion again, go to where Forest is, and then you'll find Barry there. When you get to the Guardhouse, DO NOT INTERACT WITH DOOR 002 WITHOUT FIRST GETTING THE DORMITORY KEY. By interacting with the door, you will hear the conversation between Barry and Wesker, and when the scene ends, enter, and there will be another scene of Jill with Barry. This way, Barry won't help Jill against Plant 42.
