Really fun but hard achievement

Holding DPad Down is a requirement to do this

After 8 hours... I finally got this!
Holding the D-Pad Down was the solution to this horrible achievement who shouldn't even be on the main set.

We are so glad we saw others discussing holding down the d-pad. By changing the gamepad config to have the Y button serve as the down button, it was so much easier. Only took five attempts after that.

Não me leve a mal a pessoa que fez essa conquista, mas é só ler os comentários e ver o quanto torturante é essa conquista. Uma conquista extremamente arbitrária que enfurece e não te faz aprender nada de novo sobre o jogo. Eu levei mais ou menos duas horas pra conseguir passar a fase, isso que eu já sou muito veterano em Mario World. A minha dica pra tornar essa conquista mais palatável, é fazer os blocos azuis zonas seguras para se pisar. Há 3 pela fase. Assim dá jeito do jogador raciocinar o próximo passo.

Aos jogadores, uma dica. Segure para baixo e dê braçadas rápidas quando for passar pelos blocos, muito provavelmente é onde a maioria tem que resetar. Ali, fazendo isso, o Mario vai subir aos pouquinhos mas ainda indo lateralmente muito bem.

Na parte final, onde você está cercado por dois peixes Rip Van Fish, você tem que dar um balão nele (isso se você ficar nervoso e não tiver tanta coordenação assim), descendo até o bloco amarelo lá em baixo. Ele vai vir com tudo, sem conseguir frear. Você vai usar o chão como proteção e vai contornar ele e seguir adiante. Daí na corrida até a chegada da fase, você precisa ficar atento com o RNG, você não vai estar 100% seguro. Eu quase fui de vala porque o jogo quis me trollar. De qualquer forma, dando o balão no Rip Van Fish você bem dizer terminou a fase.

Boa sorte, porque vai precisar. Pra mim essa é a conquista mais arrombadada do jogo, tirando os mini-mario vs the world.

That was close I use r button-Down and analog stick together and get it Solve problem. Never do that again. Can’t wait to save states again.

Nossa, acho que eu dei muita sorte, consegui essa conquista em pouco mais de 5 minutos. Pelo menos pra mim não foi tão desafiadora assim, acho que a esse ponto já tô tão acostumado com as conquistas desse site que nem passo mais raiva kk (mas não faria essa conquista de novo)

loved this achievement! precision swimming is one of the best features in smw games (&smw hacks), and it's always super funny having a cheevo spice up a level you would otherwise overlook

At the moment, the worst achievement I’ve obtained, very unfair. In the video, it clearly touches the wall at minute 0:23 and wasn’t penalized, while I barely touch the wall and I have to start over. I managed it after several attempts, but honestly, I don’t understand why they include achievements like this, at least in the base game. And yes, if I don’t want to get it, I simply don’t have to do it, but if I want the badge, I have to go for it. It’s frustrating, it’s not fun.

I have an Xbox controller, so I set the right trigger in the configuration to be the down button, and while I hold the trigger and swim, I do it more relaxed — it helps a lot.
