So you'll have to get the rest of the 1-ups from repeatedly spraying the Coo Coos and chasing after the runaway mushrooms they drop. If you're not sure what a Coo Coo is, take a look at the achievement author's profile picture.

This is perhaps the most frustrating achievement of the set, as you have to make sure not to kill the Coo Coos before they drop their mushrooms, which is easy to do since their flight-paths take them close to the ground, which they'll die to if you spray them into it. Similarly, since the mushrooms run away from you, it's easy to miss them as they run into lava or something; the lava being the kind that can stun-lock you to death if you're not careful. And hey, man! better make sure that 1-up dosen't land in the water! What a shame that'd be!

Try not to wake Petey if you can, this level's already as chaotic enough as is. He'll wake up if you so much as wet your lips in his direction.

Truly this cheevo is timenoe's magnum opus. I refuse to believe that such a sadistic challenge, coupled with his profile picture of choice, is merely a coincidence. Truly, all of his work on Sunshine achievements was to coo us into a false sense of security, thinking to ourselves that playing Sunshine over and over in all its various hacks and subsets is a pleasant experience; to dupe us into believing that he values the time of his players. Only then, was the time ripe to drop this ball-buster on us, to make us pay for our naïveté.

It's not so bad. Make sure whenever you're making a Coo Coo drop a 1-up you have a straight line of clean ground to run at it. All but one single Coo Coo can be safely dealt with without waking up Petey. The other 1-ups are laying around in various corners, one from saving the gooped Yoshi, and one from a crate near the start.

Just make sure the angle you spawn the Coo Coo 1-ups at doesn't lead it to run away into a flaming building or a bunch of water, and you should be golden. Be patient and keep the ground clean.

1 - in a crate near the very start
2 - by the volleyball net near the start
3 - cleaning the Yoshi
4 - under the bridge
5 - right by the flaming house with the "this is fine" Yoshi
6 - behind the house on the small island
7-12 - spraying each Coo Coo ~5 times without killing them and chasing after the shroom that spawns

There’s another mushroom, go to the big Yoshi house with the mailbox and spray the fireplace from afar, if done correctly a mushroom will pop out, just wait for it to come to you to collect it. Consider this a spare mushroom if you happen to fail any of the Coo Coo ones

False Block Nexus and the tutorial 1-ups were hard but you got through them with practice. This is just spending hours of your life until you get perfectly lucky.
