So I knew frame rate issues can cause timers to act off in vice city, so just to be sure I set my pcsx2 renderer to “software,” hoping that it would disable potentially increased frame rates. No clue if this really did anything, but I finished the 5th race with 6 seconds left on the clock so it was definitely doable.

For corners, don’t break or completely let go off the gas, but rather rapidly tap x for easy turning without losing all your speed. As for the 3 jumps, just go full speed ahead and if you fail you can always retry (just save beforehand at the dock).

For the boat, go with the Squado, the one on the left when looking towards the water.

For no reason, sometimes one of the packages has collision and will send you flying in a completely different direction, and I'd just like to make it known that this is, in fact: not cool
