This achievement doesn't trigger until a level-up occurs. So you can catch a full party of level 50+ Pokemon from Cerulean Cave, but for the cheevo to trigger, a level-up has to occur, FYI!

This achievement didn't trigger until I started the game again after completing the Elite Four. Like previous comment says in theory if you catch all the mons in cerulean cave that are 50+ save and get to continue screen it should pop.

This is an annoying one. You need to level six pokemon under lvl 50 in your party to exactly level 50 and not higher, without changing your party. I had to catch 6 seakings @lvl 45 from cerulean cave, taught them surf (+already learned waterfall) then leveled up in victory road VS rock pokemon until each hit lvl 50 and then it popped.

You can have some in your party that are over level 50

All your pokemon in your party have to be leveled 50 or more, if you catch a pokemon that is at 50 or higher it has to be leveled by you at least 1 level for the achievement to pop.

I caught a bunch of lvl 50+ pokes in Cerulean Cave. Used a rare candy on my lvl 88 Pikachu. Saved the game with the full party of lvl 50+ Pokemon, then reloaded the game and at Continue the achievement popped.

People seem to not belief me: I also had all lvl 50 pokemon in my party and it just wouldn't pop when I leveled one up. Tried different methods until I did the method above. Again, not saying others may have it easier but I had trouble with it.

Easiest way to obtain this is at the end of the game, once you get access to the Cerulean Cave go in there and catch 5 Pokémon who are all above Lvl 50 (Your Pikachu will already be over Lvl 50 by this point)

Once you have a full team, give each Pokémon a “Rare Candy” then soft reset your game and the achievement will pop once you load it up again, easy.

I used my Pikachu, Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise because I naturally leveled them up to 50+ for the Elite Four. I went to Cerulean Cave to catch 2 more, I gave them each a Rare Candy (only 2 used)... it did not trigger on the level up, but once I restarted the game, it did trigger.

It might be best to update the achievement description to include a potential game restart when using Rare Candy.

At first, it didn't accept Mew, so I had to replace it with a Graveler, than level it up and it worked.

You don't need to level up. Just catch a bunch of level 50+ in Cerulean Cave, put them in your team, and restart your game.
