    You HAVE to give them a green you can't just use something like odin and kill the enemies on the first turn, I don't know if it's intentional or not

    You don't have to use the green. If you kill the other enemies normally, the achievement will work fine. Even though it shows the attack misses the chocobo, Odin makes the chocobo scream out Wark!, indicating that the game considers that you didn't catch it. Seems like an oversight. In any case, avoid perturbing the chocobo lol
