it shouldn't be impossible for any player. Mount L and R as almost the full button press, and have like r3 be the full L press. Then you can press L and then hit r3 and it'll function the same as analog triggers.

Ok. I just had no idea ice balls and even water and fire balls could be thrown!!
I basically followed @Fridge's suggestion.

In my case, I have like a "dual shock" joystick and what I did was use L3 and R3 as L/R buttons and as regards the "L/R analog triggers" I used L2 and R2.

In this way, I just held my L2 and was able to aimed with my right stick and then just pressed L3 to shoot.

*IF YOU ARE ON STEAM DECK*

I exclusively use my SD for everything I do on RA. This is 100% possible, as shown that I’ve done it. Here’s how:

Go to your controller settings on Dolphin, and set L to Shoulder L (Which is L2), then set L-Analog to Trigger L (which is your L1). If you hold L2, then just tap L1 as you’re holding it, it’ll 100% shoot an ice ball. Go nuts and earn that cheevo! GL to my fellow Steam Deck users!

By the way I know Boolusus is a bit different in the normal mansion, does anyone know if its significantly easier in that version of the fight?

@SuperCirno idk if I'd say significantly easier but I do think it's a little easier from my experience, hidden mansion you kinda move around fast which might make it "harder"

kinda satisfying to get but definitely felt like a 10 pointer. took me about an hour of trying different strategies, and even after I found one that was getting me semi-consistent 7s/8s, it took some pretty punishing luck to get 10. Even if you line them up laterally, their vertical height is super random

This definitely feel like a 10 pointers. Even on Normal mansion with native GC controller controls it's still is a really hard speedrunner trick to pull off. It's not mouse skew hard, but the RNG of the verticality of the boos, even getting them to line up is not 100% guaranteed, really makes it annoying and long to get.

Finally got this one!

This one honestly just took some decent timing and moving to the other side of the balcony to group them up. I would move all the way to other end to make sure they were and would fire the ice ball at them when I saw some of their shadows appear off screen. I would only fire the one ice ball before moving to the other end and waiting to try again. It might take a lot of attempts because some factors need to line up, but you got this!

Really not that hard. Let them split and move to the other unicorn statue and wait until you see some of them. Then shoot in their direction. It‘s a bit luck dependent but it‘s manageable.

Hardest part for me was setting up the Triggers and having to walk all the way to the Boss every single attempt
