Got it at 00:00:72; Captain Falcon, Side B to the Left from the platform you start on. He came at me after a million resets, and the Side B spiked him into the pit.

I second that this achievement is almost purely RNG-based but not in a "fun" way. Literally just keep side-B off the left with Falcon until Yoshi happens to follow you in. It doesn't take that long but I just don't understand the point of waiting for the AI to kill itself as an achievement. I got two 1.5s before getting 0.5 within about 7 minutes so it didn't take *that* long, but it just seems silly.

Side B? You're making it too complicated. I tried just running off the stage with the Cap on a whim, and it worked. Point 88 seconds if you're curious.

That doesn't change the point/argument. I ended up just running off as well to get my achievement as I was tired of pressing an extra button every single time and it still took like 150 attempts. And even when it worked some of those times, it still wasn't under 1 second. It's complete RNG no matter which way you slice it.

I also agree with other users this achievement is just boring RNG play bad until the AI finally yeets himself in under a second after you reset for the 500th time. It's not really much of an "achievement" to run off a ledge over and over again but at the very least the time should be increased to make this less painful to go through.

Not sure which is worse, getting immediately egged or Yoshi's AI choosing to do nothing and slowly turning to look at the camera with that smug expression

I used fox. Immediately dash left to your death and eventually yoshi will follow. I got 00.00.55 seconds. It took about 15 minutes

Yeah gonna echo the rest of the comment section and say this is just a stupid "achievement". Not fun, no skill, just reset until Yoshi decides to do the thing.

Used Captain Falcon. Use Side+B to the left off your starting platform, but launch it after your feet have left the platform. Don't jump, just run off, and Side+B. Running off the platform attracts Yoshi, and the Side+B will kill it...if you're lucky.

The only thing this tested was my patience.
I did it with Ganondorf, holding constant left and doing a jump right at the start of the match.
Truly awful RNG achievement :(

Luckily got it fairly quickly with Cap Falcon Side+B - but this achievement needs to go. To echo others there is nothing fun or skill based about this, it's entirely dependent on the RNG from the Yoshi AI. It also doesn't unlock any sort of award/trophy and doesn't guide towards any sort of completionist exploration - which would be the only reason to include this (i.e., if it were to unlock something required for 100% game completion mastery or was some sort of secret unlock or something).

This set is loaded with plenty of great achievements so this is just completely unnecessary bloat.

Updated to be more forgiving, under 4 seconds so the player can apply more actual input to achieving this.
