FINALLY! I got this nightmare of a cheevo done! This time, my Metal opponent was Pikachu. Wasnt too terribly bad, I just reflected his thunder bolt and dodgerolled to avoid his skull bash.

After 25 Hours of attempts I noticed my biggest mistake, I tried to do this one with characters unlocked, so I restarted the savefile, unlocked only Ganondorf via events and only an hour later I had it, It took me so long but I managed after all, Luigi, Dr. Mario and Falco made my life impossible

My biggest advice for this is to learn about the game AI and how to manipulate it, there is a lot of ways to make some parts of the run easier, and my second biggest advice is to take your time, At hour 16 I got an attempt to hands but I had too little time on the clock and I died do Crazy Hand, be patient, find your strategy and focus on what each fight does with your selection of characters

If anything, try to do this one FIRST not LAST, believe me, it's going to be much easier

I bashed my head against this for hours until I realized I was doing this wrong. After looking up the AI, I eventually got it in two tries using Fox Laser Spam. For Team Ness specifically, you can use Shines to make them fall on the ground and by the time they're getting up, the car will run them over.

I finally finished it. I used Marth and did the classic up-tilt and f-smash tactic. With the teams I picked the three I most excelled at and reset the run to make sure I got them. Then when I finally did beat the team I took a 5 min break to reset my nerves for Metal and Master Hand. Master Hand is easy to win but with all that pressure you can easily choke. Either way. It's done. 17 hours of grinding finally over.

i hate myself, i accidentally air dodged OFF the stage on master hand... when i had no reason to air dodge to begin with.

i did it! i ended up using kirby, got team mario which is the one team i can consistently beat since its very easy to make them SD. i also stalled on stage 5 as much as i could so i didn't get crazy hand, although my stage 5 opponent was ice climbers who are likely to eventually die to the stage without me doing much, so i only was able to stall for 1 minute. thankfully the other battles took long enough where i was able to only fight master hand.

I've tried Kirby, Fox, Marth, Roy and Ganondorf and I still can't get this. I struggle on stage 2 then dread the multi-man battles if I'm even able to pass stage 2. This is absurdly hard and would be a lot more tolerable if the stock limit wasn't a thing.

You can cheese most fights by swallowing opponents with Kirby while you're falling off-stage. It seems to sometimes not work against specific opponents/stages but I did it with a temporary new save file to fight only against the base roster

FINALLY got it! Kirby is by far the best option for this, as well as having no characters unlocked. I did have Marth, Luigi and Ganondorf but I didn't face Ganon at all. I found the best team battles were any ones with Temple or Brinstar since you can still recover after a KO, best Giant battle was Link on Great Bay (if you drop to the bottom left platform immediately, he'll most often SD), and best multi man battle was DK or Mario. Avoid team Captain Falcon at all costs.

Just finished my 3rd day in a row on this one.....I cannot beat the team battles at all lol. Is there any way to manipulate who the team battles are? I can easily up b jigglypuffs with Roy but they only showed up 3 times so far where as I've gotten 7 team falcons in a row

only way to sort of do so is to reset your unlocked characters, that will reduce the possibilities of who you fight. Also, just incase you haven't noticed, you will not fight a character that you fought in an earlier stage. So if you fought Captain Falcon in an earlier stage, he will not show up in the team battle. Also, the character you play as will not appear. My character of choice was Fox with no unlocked characters.

I ended up doing it...I'm praying all star isn't as bad since there's less gimmicks.

Here was what I did:
Make sure you have jigglypuff and pichu unlocked, but NOT game and watch. More on that later.

I played Roy. Your sword outreaches most characters so just stand in place and side smash for almost every fight. Once they're about 60% start charging your special to one shot them.

In team fights, try to focus and kill one as quickly as possible and if they both run at your try smashing them in a rhythm so that they don't touch you. Some characters like Link are a pain but you can jump onto a higher platform and keep hitting them when they try to jump to you. This works great for the temples, Samus' level etc.

For giant battles I straight up fall off the edge, grab the ledge, fall again and use up b to keep doing that until the AI kills itself. I easily kill Mario, Bowser, Link, but DK, young Link, and captain falcon give me a hard time.

Multi man battles: Pray it's jigglypuff or pichu. Just up b over and over again to kill them. When one dies, hit the next one coming in for basically a guaranteed death. The reason I said no game and watch above is because he can also be in a multi man fight and I don't know how easy/hard he is. I was sometimes able to beat DK by waiting on the side, waiting for them to jump to me and smash attacking them but usually something would go wrong. Some characters like mario kill themselves pretty easily but I'd still get swarmed. Team captain falcon can lick my soggy taint.

great work! My preferred for the multi man battle was Mario or DK, since you can trick them into selfdestructing. Good luck with all-star though. It might be a bit tougher though. There's a reason why it got bumped up to 100 points

This one was substantially harder than all-star imo, at least with Marth. The biggest issue with Classic isn't the AI but the fact that your attacks have lower damage scaling (I believe, haven't consulted the wiki) so it takes WAY longer to kill enemies compared to all-star, even on very hard. Not to mention that many safe moves aren't safe at lower percents (i.e. you hit an enemy and then they immediately counterattack) because hitstun is lower. The RNG also makes it way more frustrating since you could be five minutes into the run just to have it die to a team of falcons.

Protip in case you weren't aware: if you take longer than 5:50 to get to Master Hand, then Crazy Hand won't spawn. I usually killed some time in round 7 since the enemy won't approach you to make sure I was over the limit. I had at least two runs die to CH.

In my experience completing this achievement, the character that helped me was Peach, due to her down smash that apart from coming out fast, does decent damage when it connects multiple times, even though I lost both hands because of doing it fast, I was able to beat both.
Good luck to whoever is trying, you depend on your knowledge of the CPU as much as if the RNG helps you in some stages.

This took me 17 hours over 5 days to unlock with Kirby. Pretty fun to figure out were to position myself to drop the ai into the abyss. Also screw team captain falcon >:(

holy piss shit was this hard. so yah Kirby is the chosen one for sure. making most of the fight a joke by making them SD. the DK and Mario fights are the team fights you want. they both has fairly easy SD setups. if you stall out most of the time on the fight before the team fight the CPU that likes to run away you can get most of the 5:30 you need to NOT have to fight crazy hand making this trophy infinitely easer.
