alternative method: use the nitros to bounce over the bushes

It takes so much longer to get an item in the original than in nitro fueled that it is actually faster to just try to carefully collect some of these without blowing them up, for instance the one at 0:12. Also as DavidLR04 said, you can cut a lot of time by bumping into nitroes at 0:42 and getting over the fence instead of going around.

The easiest of all 4 purple tracks, just let nitro blow you up 2-3 times to get over obstacles or if you think that brakin will take longer. Also don't collect crystals in circles, do it by the closest ones ( i started with the half of biggest circle, then half of middle, then used nitro to get back to the biggest and after collecting returned to middle and smallest. Got it with 37 seconds remaining.

Also, nitro is not as horrible as you might think, you'll go on pushing forward if you bump into it on speed.
