@Lakitu I did it like this: fill up your P-meter. In the exact moment you pass the symbol box hit left and jump immediately (to stop on point and facing opposite direction). The whole movement/procedure in one flow. Needs some practice

Stand at the zig-zag line where the background changes color. B-button run towards the goal and jump at it a 45-deg (approx) angle. Your P-meter should be charged about 4-5 slots. You will get a flower every time.

Confirmed, to always have the pairs of fire flower, keep the P-meter between the 4 or 5 slot and a jump of 45 deg to obtain the fire flower.Thanks @KravicUnit
